The game is set in the world of Lord of Vermillion, the seven worlds have clashed together to form a dimension of chaos. The hero has to wield his sword and the arcana stone to restore order to the land. The controls are simple, even novice swordsman can learn the moves in no time, and while this can be the journey of a lone wolf, by switching on the networking facilities, gamers can take their teams to their conquests.
In Loopop Cube - Loop Salad Portable - Matatabi, Salad is a young girl and, ironically, considering her name, a huge fan of cake. With a 2D side-on view of a puzzle, the aim is to clear it of coloured blocks by pushing them around with Salad and matching three or more together. Any number of blocks in a horizontal line can be pushed at once, however any blocks atop them will remain stationary and will fall on Salad should she push away the block below.
The peaceful world of the Loco Roco are under attack by the not-so-nice Moja Corps! These evil outer space creatures have come to take the LocoRoco from their land of blowing flowers, lively creatures and pastel scenery. As the planet where the LocoRoco inhabit, you must move them through more than 40 levels of slippery slopes, teetering platforms and maze-like passages. The LocoRoco have the uncanny ability to fluidly 'morph' to their landscape, so all you need is to tilt, roll and bounce the happy 'blob-like' creatures to safety!
Loco Roco is divided into 5 worlds each consisting of 8 levels. In each level, the goal is to reach the end point of the level, with the player scored on the number of LocoRoco found, the time to complete the level, and other factors. There are six varieties of LocoRoco in the game, identified by their color, appearance, and musical voice, but outside of the first yellow one (Kulche), the rest are unlocked as the player completes the levels. The other 5 types, in the order they are unlocked in-game, are pink (Priffy), blue (Tupley), red (Pekeroné), black (Budzi), and green (Chavez).
Living peacefully on a faraway planet, the Loco Roco and their friends, the Mui Mui, help grow vegetation and look after nature, making the planet a pleasant place to be, playing and singing the days away. When the Moja Troop comes to the planet to take it over, the LocoRoco do not know how to fight against these invaders from outer space. As such, the player assumes the role of 'the planet' that is capable of guiding the LocoRoco around to defeat the Moja Troop and rescue the remaining LocoRoco, returning the planet to its peaceful ways.
Loco Roco featuring unique controls utilizing the 'L' and 'R' shoulder buttons, players are tasked with controlling via 'tilting or bumping' the landscape of the LocoRoco in order to help them navigate through the level and keep them out of harm's way. With more than 40 stages, players control and guide the LocoRoco through vibrant, thriving and lush worlds filled with slippery slopes, swing ropes , and more.
Loco Roco love to eat, and their favourite fruit is the red berries that are native to the planet. For each one of these that you eat, the LocoRoco grows bigger. It may in fact become too big to squeeze through smaller gaps, however this is not a problem. If you tap the Circle button, the LocoRoco will shriek and break up into smaller ones. If you hold the Circle button, they will all call out and assimilate back into the singular LocoRoco.
Loco Roco 2 Story: Having successfully defeated the Moja Corps, the LocoRoco settle back in their peaceful life. However, Bon Mucho, the Moja Boss, is not willing to accept defeat, so he devises a terrible song that can suck the life force out of living things, as a new attack on the LocoRoco. Armed with this fearsome song, the Moja boarded their meteorite and set off once more on a mission to conquer the LocoRoco planet. Back there, the LocoRoco finds the new MuiMui house, but right after, the meteor comes crashing down onto a Nyokki, and the Mojas start attacking again. The LocoRoco then set off on an ever more epic journey to restore the life force into living things and to defeat the Moja Corps.
In Loco Roco 2, LocoRocos have previously rescued Mr. Planet from the horrible songs of the Mojas in the last installment and life start to reappear on its surface again. But the mischief of the Mojas are not that easily stemmed out. The little black mob is back to zap life forces from vegetation with a new songs. To rescue their troubled friends, the LocoRocos are back in action.Use the L and R buttons, bounce into the air and float back, swim and roll around. Gather the music notes and use your songs to battle the mojas and bring life back to the planet.
