In Catz - Your Virtual Petz Palz, the user can encourage Petz to fall in love by squirting them with love potions and perfumes and giving them food with aphrodisiac-like qualities, as well as using other means. When Petz have mated, a heart will appear on the screen informing the user of the female's pregnancy (which generally lasts 3 – 5 days). In that time, females will become noticeably rounder and will require extra food and attention.

In Bugs Bunny et le Chateau des Catastrophes, you move from one level to another from a map listing all places, and where you are given passwords, the only way to resume your game where you were. The levels are scrolling horizontally and vertically, and you will have to dig a little each door you come across, find the eight keys that will unlock the large padlock that blocks access to the suite. The movements of the rabbit are very basic, even too basic, since it can only walk, climb ladders, and fall.

Classic Bubble Bobble increased the speed limit of how long you have to get rid of the bad guys, you don't get that big diamond bonus. The game was pathetically easy and offered up only about 60 levels. The bubbles were difficult to pop and way too easy to jump on. All in all, give me the classic on the NES any day over this poorly made modern version.

Games like Super Mario Brothers Deluxe and Classic Bubble Bobble outshine their NES counterparts and pay homage to the classic versions of old.

Cool Bricks through a special programming trick, the Game Boy Color can display more than 2000 colors on-screen instead of the usual less-than-50. The problem with using this mode is that animation must be kept to a minimum. Apparently the developers at Pukka Games worked its magic for SCi and gave the Cool Bricks game its own shot of color.

Croc has two categories of side-scrolling platformers. There's Mario, and the there are the not-Marios. In the Mario corner is every Mario game ever made (save perhaps the first Super Mario Land, but we can all forgive), and with it is every game made by sharp, creative designers who played and fell in love with the game so much that its brilliance inspired them. In other words, this game could have used a few play testers.
