In order to reproduce the original arcade games as closely as possible, the PSP can be rotated 90 degrees when playing those games replicated in their coin-op version. Twinbee da, originally made for the Gameboy, has had its graphics redrawn in full colour and to fit the high resolution of the screen. Stage 3 of the original GB version has been left out, though.

The player's laser cannon is partially protected by several stationary defense bunkers—the number also varies by version—that are gradually destroyed from the top and bottom by blasts from either the aliens or the player.
