Winter. I live in a small town by a port. My life is very ordinary, I just go to a nearby college on a daily basis. One winter afternoon, my friend invited me to a party, but I refused to go because of a girl, Kaori Sakuragi, who lived next to me, whom I had a big crush on. That particular afternoon, I witness her kissing a man. It hurts my feelings greatly. Following the incident, I hear a knock on the door. As I open the door, I see two policemen standing. They ask, 'Do you happen to know a girl named Kaori Sakuragi?'

Yarudora Portable - Sampaguita Story: Autumn. One rainy autumn evening, I was walking back home from a drinking party. I bump into a girl sitting in the rain, completely drenched in water. I notice a cut on her forehead - bleeding. I take her home with me. Her name is Maria, and she is from somewhere in the South East Asia, but she does not remember her identity. I search through her bag and find a photo, some cash, make-up set... and a hand gun....
Kisetsu o Dakishimete is the second entry in the interactive anime Novel series Yarudora. Spring, in a little Japanese town. The main protagonist (i.e. the character controlled by the player), a 20-years old man, enters university and is greeted by his close friend Tomoko Kunitachi. He actually was a ronin for a year, due to a Heroic BSoD caused by the loss of the classmate he loved in his High School time, Mayu Sakurai. It was made worse by the fact he feels guilty for this, as he lost the courage to confess his feelings to her during their last conversation, and she died in a traffic accident mere hours later. Tomoko, whom he met at cramschool, and who fell deeply in love with him, helped him get back on his feet, and he's now partially back.
Yarudora Portable - Kisetsu wo Dakishimete Story: Spring. Tomoko has always been a great friend of mine since we were young. Though I only thought of her as my buddy, she seemed to have different kind of feelings for me. One day, when we are walking along the cherry blossom trees, we find a girl lying unconscious underneath a tree. It's a girl whom I had a big crush on in high school - a girl who was killed in a car accident....
Yarudora Portable - Double Cast takes place in summer, and is about an unnamed protagonist (supposed to be the player's representative), who is a member of his college's Film Club. One night, he goes out drinking with his fellow club members, and gets so drunk that he passes out on top of a bunch of garbage bags. Upon awakening, he finds himself on a fountain with a strange girl holding him, who took him out of the garbage bags. As thanks, the protagonist takes her for a bite at a nearby fast food restaraunt. He quickly discovers that the girl has no memory of who she is aside from her name: Mitsuki Akasaka. With nowhere for her to go, the protagonist offers for her to stay at his place, which she enthusiastically accepts.
Based on the manga and anime movie with the same title, Yarudora Portable - Blood the Last Vampire focuses on the story set in Tokyo a couple of decades after the original series. While the anime and game stories don't have direct connection, the game setting is based on the same world as in the original series. While Saya is the protagonist of the original story, this story features a young boy who is a high-school student, as the protagonist. One day, while riding a subway, he experiences the strangest sensation... he starts hearing a demonic voice that no one else can hear. This soon starts to affect his daily life and drive him towards madness, but then Saya, the last remaining original vampire enters his life.
Yarudora Portable - Double Cast begins with you, the main character, waking up at a fountain to the face of a pretty girl. You are a high school boy, and this girl has helped you out of the garbage where you had passed out in a drunken stupor. (Talk about first impressions!) As it turns out, she cannot remember anything about herself except for her name, Akasaka Mitsuki. Since she has no place to stay, you offer your own, and so begins your unusual relationship with this spirited girl. When your film club finds itself in need of a female lead, Mitsuki joins in, and from there the main story begins to unfold.
Yarudora Portable - Blood the Last Vampire is part of the Yarudora game series which are meant to be played as an interactive anime. As is the case with earlier games in the series, Blood: The Last Vampire features full voice-acting and plays non-stop as a regular TV anime with player choices which need to be selected in a time limit of only a couple of seconds and result in story branching or slight alteration of the events. The game has multiple endings and by re-playing it, more choices and ending get unlocked. There is a flowchart show the overall story progress and taken routes so replaying does not become repetitive.
